It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, but in that time I’ve been out lots and taking plenty of photographs too – both landscape and action. As such, rather than waffling on here’s a load of them – I’ll leave them to do the talking.
This shot was taken back in March, when the light was just about creeping back into the evenings and there was a slender moment to get out after work and before darkness.
Gaz Marshall getting stuck into the final crack of Right Unconquerable, during an unseasonably warm spell in late March.
One of the many cold missions to Malham during March/April. This was taken during the chilly Easter weekend, where we spent as much time in The Listers Arms as we did the crag. This particular shot was taken on a rest day walk over the tops to see the limestone pavement.
Sunrise over Stanage in mid-April. Well worth the 5am start…
Bouldering at Kudos Wall as the sun sets, back in mid-April. Despite the grim nature of the holds, plus the obscene polish on the footholds, there’s something strangely endearing and pleasantly tranquil about this spot.
A strangely similar shot to the last, but this time over at Raven Tor. I’m in the middle of reviewing the new Mountain Equipment Rock Climbing Range for UKC – hence the same clothing throughout!
The return to Chulilla and the return to sunshine
Jack Geldard on Super Furry Animal, Chulilla – Spain
A bit of a contrast to the shot taken at Malham back at the Easter weekend. Penny very much enjoying the sunshine in Chulilla.
